Why do Seventh-day Adventists meet on Saturday?
Throughout the Bible God attaches special significance to the seventh day of the week, a day the Bible calls 'Sabbath'.
We see this in the Creation account, (Genesis 2:1-3),
the Ten Commandments, (Exodus 20:8-11),
the ministry of Jesus, (Luke 4:16),
and that of His disciples in the New Testament (Acts 17:2).
God promises a blessing on those who will remember the seventh day Sabbath, (Isaiah 58:13,14).
The seventh day of the week is what we commonly call Saturday.
